In general, the reviews conclude that the image quality of this camera is not that good. If you like to take pictures at night or in low light situations, this camera, according to the review, is not for you either. The reviews say that it performs badly when the lighting is not that good. In addition, the camera, they say, is a slow performer or has a slow reaction time. :(

I recommend that you try to look at Nikon Coolpix L11 instead. Its a newer model and the reviews at the same site say that it has a faster reaction time and has way better image quality. It also has all the built in editing tools of the L5 except the vibration reduction (VR).</description>
