Synergy One Global is an MLM

A friend of mine back in college days suddenly called me, he said the he is a business associate of an international US based company trying to establish a branch here in the in the Philippines. He said that they are looking for hardworking persons with goals and is willing to meet up for a business meeting at 15th Floor Octagon Center 41 San Miguel Avenue Ortigas Pasig, City he also said that he expects me to be a professional and wont back up on the last minute once i agreed. Being on the phone and understanding that explaining business details will take much time i just asked for the nature of the company and its name then agreed for the meeting. He said the business is virtual franchising and the name is Synergy One Global.

With this i searched the net for information about the company and here is what i found Blog about Synergy. Because of this i texted him back and said ill have to cancel the meeting because I’m not interested in MLM.

In not against MLM companies even but the way they are recruiting people is deceptive. Having people to come into a 2 hour business presentation that is actually a presentation of an overpriced item and a show of people who was said to be successful is a waste of time for some people, specially for those who don’t believe in such business model. How can we expect to believe these persons that will recruit us if can’t even say straightforward that they are in an MLM company and wants us to join? Why have multiple names of a single company?

hey man i came across your blog just recently, well basically what your friend told you wasnt deceptive at all, yes synergy 1 is an MLM, yes it is a multinational company, and yes it is virtual franchising because of the marketing system that they use. ol of that would have been explained during the presentation.. now why would they use different terms? because there are so many terms to describe the industry, its just that so many MLM scams have sprouted and closed, so there will always be a pre-judgment that if its an MLM its an illegal company or its a scam that will close down in just a matter of time.not everyone understands the real concept of what an MLM is and that’s why you we’re invited in that manner. im not convincing you to go to their presentation or anything, just want to clear things out with the questions on your mind.. your friend was truthful to you and everything he said was true.. i mean what is there to lose? he had the best interests when he called you up and he saw that the company could change your life just as it has changed mine.. anyways nothing personal bro ayt? i myself was contacted by a friend who invited me to synergy 1 and since then life has been great… and just to show you i mean no disrespect or anything you can even send me a reply to my e-mail its jimmy_seraph4@yahoo.com.. thanx for reading

Using such terms to describe the company is already misleading because it makes us thinks that it is not an MLM company. For a person who don’t believe in MLM, being blindly invited to such company is a discomfort because of the amount of time we have to spend.

I just want to make it clear… My blog didn’t say anything about the company scamming people out of their money. I’m just saying that the way they make people come to them is deceptive.

I also received a call from the same company just this morning, he is with the name Jonathan dela Cruz. I was surprised when he told me that he got my name and contact details from my secondary school. I was really surprised! He asked if I could meet up with him this coming Saturday for the business presentation. I’ve been with different people from different MLM companies. I joined some of those MLM’s before, and it’s really rewarding if you give it a time. I, myself, is very aware of the scams and I’m a critical thinker as well. I wanted to see how things work first before plunging into the business. I know some remarkable people from FLP, FQ and a lot of MLM companies as well. I also heard about the loading business opportunities and once joined that also. It has a good system but i wasn’t able to continue because my sim card was corrupted. I don’t have any bad ideas with this kind of business, but yeah, there’s nothing to lose, just time and some effort listening… but it’s a good practice for us to ask questions to know more about the business, and the effectiveness of the business is not on the marketing plan, but depends on the person’s willingness to push through and break all the barriers that prevent him or her to be rewarded. Thanks for the 411 bro, I really can relate to this article, and I hope more people would find this blog a very helpful tip for them to understand first that money doesn’t grow on trees, you have to give time and effort for you to harvest money… email me for some tips, thank you—>tonberry0725@yahoo.com

Looks like I’m not the only one… Some girl just called me about everything that you just talked about, and reading through this thread of yours, it’s amazing!
I wouldn’t be surprised if those two positive responses about MLM’s being that great and all would belong to the same recruiters… Anyway, thanks for the info man!

their recruitments are bogus. I play for a while. Just to get enough information from them. What irritates me, is that they are forcing me to attend and that I would be unprofessional if I decline. When I got enough information on them, I googled the address. 15th floor Octagon building ortigas center that they gave me. This is annoying enough for me, NO COMPANY NAMES? or even NATURE OF THEIR BUSINESS??
